High-toned fruit and distinct warm earth, game, herbal, and smoke notes give way to equally powerful, deep, and backwards full-bodied flavours that possess plenty of muscle and finish with buckets of sève that completely coat and stain the palate. There is notably good freshness, first-rate persistence, and excellent balance that will permit this to age effortlessly, which it will need as it's a bit more restrained than the Clos St. Denis.
