The Grivots have been working very hard at their Clos de Vougeot over the years, looking to soften the wine’s usually sturdy tannins. There is certainly structure behind the sweet, perfumed, red-berry fruit, but this is elegant in its construction. A strong wine that Etienne is trying to educate. Drink 2028-2038.
