There is good dose of Premier Cru wine in this blend, with Les Chatelots comprising a quarter of the blend, with a seasoning of Charmes, and the balance of the village lieux-dits Les Bas Doix, Les Véroilles and Les Athets. The joy of this blend is that it covers the village slopes from the bottom to the top. There are 10 barrels this year and it is a sweetly textured Chambolle  Ewith this, rather than perfume, forming the wine’s focus. Irresistible. Drink 2022-2027.
