ready-improve2018 Beaune, Les Perrières, 1er Cru, Domaine de Montille

Full, robust chunky ripe forest berry fruits complemented by notes of herb and mocha. Mouth filling, floral and punchy, a Beaune bursting character and crunch. From 65-year-old vines planted on clay limestone soils with more clay than the domaine's Beaune Sizies giving a denser wine. Fermented with a third whole bunches and aged in 20% new oak.
