It's almost hard to believe but this offers even more elegance, finesse and precision than the Champans with a purity of expression that rivals the very best wines of the Côte de Beaune in 2002. This just oozes sap, which buffers the otherwise firm, mineral-infused, punchy flavors and rounds out the presently very racy finish.
