This wine is almost unquantifiably good. Eben has achieved harmony between and indomitable winemaker and the greatest material from some of the oldest vines in the area. It shows more depth and volume of flavour than the higher altitude chenins. Rich ripe stone fruits, underipe tropical fruits and subtle spice. The wine is textured, oily and full bodied the finish evolves and changes from honey suckle to lanolin then onto ginger and spice. This is a wine for the decades and will show best with at least ten years behind it.  Drink 2028-2043+
