2012 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux, Bordeaux

Sadly, there is only very small production of Alter Ego de Palmer this year, but it is really worth seeking this one out as it is, once again, absolutely fabulous. Wonderful, fresh, crunchy red fruits that are so juicy and compelling make you want to drink it from the barrel now. Forget about all this ageing malarkey! Displaying beautifully brilliant balance, it kicks many other châteaux’s Grand Vin’s into the cheap seats.
