Description
A tiny strip of vineyard on the way into Baudana, Serralunga, planted a long time ago and now producing tiny clusters of Nebbiolo that bear more than a passing resemblance to a Richebourg...he wishes! But as part of the blend, it adds a profundity and lushness, making this benchmark, Vosne-esque Barolo.
Davide’s particularly chuffed with his 2006s. This a blend of his 7 Serralunga vineyards, vinified in stainless steel, cement and large French oak botte. It captures both the high quality, licorice zing of the vintage along with the magical minerality of the village.
