May’s Unforgettable Wine & Spirits Experiences

May was an extraordinary month, filled with exclusive tastings and immersive experiences for fine wine and exceptional spirits lovers.

We had the privilege of having Rudd and Berry family members - Lizzy Rudd, Geordie Willis, and Charlie Rudd in Hong Kong to join us for a special series of tasting, kicking off with our Family Reserve wines Tasting —a deep dive into the heart of our heritage and the artistry behind these exquisite bottles.

For book and wine aficionados, our Lok Man Rare Book Tasting was an elegant marriage of Burgundy’s finest wines and historic, collectible maps. This unique exhibition allowed guests to sip and savor while tracing Burgundy’s viticultural legacy through rare prints—a true connoisseur’s delight.

The Bordeaux 2005 Vintage Tasting at The Armoury was nothing short of spectacular. As one of the greatest vintages of the century, the 2005 Bordeaux tasting took us on a journey through twenty years of maturation, unveiling the deep, fleshy complexity of these Left and Right Bank treasures.

Rounding out the month was a lavish Tesseron Wine & Cognac Dinner, where we welcomed Matthieu Chapoutier for an indulgent vertical tasting of Château Pontet-Canet vintages, a look into the 2019 Pym-Rae estate, and a rare opportunity to experience the legendary Tesseron Cognacs, including the Robert Parker-rated 100-point Lot 29. An unforgettable evening celebrating generational mastery in both wine and Cognac.
