A classic -style Condrieu here with all the expected attributes of rich apricot and peach fruit, a floral note of violets and rose petals and a creamy texture from a small amount of oak barrel ageing. The wonderful 2016 vintage has been deemed the best for the white wines of the Northern Rhone and this is a testimony to the strength of this vintage. Try this with lobster or white fish served maybe with a hazelnut crust.
