Rich and toasty on the nose, very Burgundian, with a lovely lick of floral ripe fruit in the background. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, great energy there, mouth-filling ripe, white fruit, tempered by rapier-like, mouth-watering acidity, filling out to a toasty oaky finish. This is a tremendous wine with a huge amount of power and finesse. This will need a year or two in the cellar but is poised to be a great crowd pleaser.
