Marcarini has a vineyard in Neviglie (near Barbaresco), where they grow grapes for their inordinately popular Moscato d’Asti. They also grow Barbera there, which is blended with that grown on warmer sites in La Morra. The latter adds sweetness and viscosity; Neviglie adds a distinctive Lapsang tea hint. There are notes of iodine, cream and sweet cherry perfume. Drink 2021-2027.
