An expressive nose speaks of essence of raspberry, earth, sauvage and a hint of wood. The dense super-ripe flavors brim with dry extract that coats the palate and imparts a velvety mouth feel to the mocha, bitter cherry pit and slightly warm finale. This muscular and mildly rustic effort is a very ripe 2016 yet the overall impression is one of freshness and energy.
