2022 Bourgogne Rouge, Jean-Claude Ramonet

A slightly riper and more elegant nose features aromas of violet, dark cherry and raspberry and only a whisper of earth. There is better volume to the nicely rich and textured medium weight flavors that possess a caressing mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the dusty, firm and youthfully austere finale. This is really quite good for its level and in particular I like the better than average depth. Note that I would be inclined to allow this 2 to 3 years of bottle aging first. Recommended. *Outstanding*
