A complex assemblage of base wines from 5-6 different vintages, all from Grand Cru d'Ambonnay, with vines averaging 34 years. 70% is vinified in small oak barrels, with a high percentage (40%) blocking malolactic fermentation to maintain tension and vibrancy.
