laying-down2019 St Aubin, En Remilly, 1er Cru, Domaine de Montille (Magnum)

This is probably St Aubin’s best vineyard, over the hill from Le Montrachet. Although sometimes prone to drought stress, De Montille’s vines are towards the bottom of the vineyard, with sufficiently deep roots to be mostly unaffected. This pitch-perfect example has a pinch of Puligny’s reserve and tension mingling with lime blossom and peach aromas. Drink 2024-2034.
