Our 2019 Sancerre is once again made by the affable David Sautereau. A blend of grapes from vineyard parcels across Sancerre’s varying soil types, made without oak to preserve purity and freshness, this is a benchmark example of Sauvignon Blanc in its spiritual home. Gooseberry and citrus fruit jostle with notes of cut-grass, while the palate offers succulent lemon and lime flavours and a lip-smacking, saline finish. Ideal with goat’s cheese.
