Wood toast and reduction dominate the nose today. By contrast, there is good freshness and verve to the beautifully delineated, punchy, bold flavours that display taut muscularity before concluding in a slightly dry, austere, lightly stony finish. My predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that the dryness will age out as the supporting tannins seem ripe.
