ready-keep2015 Gevrey-Chambertin, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Rossignol-Trapet

Bright red-purple in colour with a classic, fine Pinot nose, there are some spicy touches in the mouth, then deep, vibrant cherry fruit behind, and an excellent, fresh, mineral finish. There is a good grip to this, with more tannins here than in the Beaune, alongside gloriously ripe, balanced fruit. Drink 2020-2026.
